Belgian designer Charlotte Lancelot recently designed a line of carpets, cushions and pouffes for the Spanish company Gan. Charlotte gathered inspiration from old embroidery pillows for the collection where she combines the old technology and digital patterns. Colored threads form patterns in the felted fabric made of 100% wool. From a distance the pattern appears to be old and shabby embroidered cushions. Charlotte was born in Brusssel in 1980 and graduated as a product designer 2003 from the Escuela Nacional Superior de la Cambre. She has previously worked with companies such as Ligne Rose, Koziola, Konstantin and Slawinki.
