Nir Meiri is an interesting designer. He graduated as a product designer from Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem in 2007 and has worked as a freelance designer since 2009, in his own company, Nir Meiri Design Studio. He works with unconventional material and plays the line between what’s homey or wild. Has designed dishes made of concrete, pendants out of flower pots and the chair 19th Hole. Meiri won the Core77 design awards in 2012 for his light Desert Storm, made of sand and glue.
