This Monday is dedicated to Davíð. Our dear friend and nephew who passed away this Saturday night, on his 32nd birthday after a battle against cancer. His serenity and courage was noteworthy, his caring and love. Every Monday during lunch we, his family, meet at his grandmother's house, Gunnar's mother and my mother in law, and enjoy some great food she cooks. Last Monday Davíð was there with us and he will be today – forever. Davíð loved nature, he loved music, he loved being in the country, in his parent's cottage, he loved his family and friends, he loved his wife and children unconditionally. All this simple and beautiful things that tell us to slow down and just be.
