This time I want to tell you about new collection from Dýrindi that will be introduced on DesignMarch 15.-17. of March in Kraum, Aðalstræti Reykjavík. The collection is named The lady and the vagrants and consists of small bags, coin purses and cushions. All products are made of recycled materials; wool and velvet, and are produced in Iceland. Because of the use of recycled materials each product is only made in few copies. The name "The lady and the vagrants" refers to mergers in professions, cultures and even time and space by reusing materials to create and design something that’s new but based on old tradition. Visit Dýrindi on it's website or on Facebook. Photos by Nína Björk Hlöðversdóttir.
