It would be really nice and super interesting to be invited to that old farmhouse in The Netherlands, just walk around and enjoy the colourful and unconventional modern family home. I had to publish it today for you (saw some images yesterday on Méchant Design), as I feel this is truly different and unique from a lot of things we've seen lately. An old and big farmhouse has been renovated and turned into that big and comfy home by the studio Viva Vida and you can see more images by going to their home page. The basic idea and conceptual vision was to create an original atmosphere and function without designed fittings. Using contemporary craft and custom design for every room to get that lived in feeling. Decorate with eccentric and vintage objects combined with modern and mid century modern pieces. Then dress it up in colours and the result becomes well executed and truly personal habitat.
