Let's talk about standout rugs. What not to love? A rug can be such a lovely piece of art in a room that without it, the room will lost all the energy and touch. Rugs are used to decorate, they layer a space, they divide it, they are acoustic. They also create warmth and cosiness. Make the space interesting and fun. Standout rugs are transformative in a space. Invigorating. They also personify in a way and make the space compelling. Notice how the rugs on the pics look lived in, they seem informal but have that huge role in creating the whole. They are almost like a painting on a wall...just lying on the floor.
