Pendants are not anymore just the old kitchen light or the one over the dining table. The extreme variety of cool and chic pendants create the need of finding some ways in using them unconventionally. Following are some great examples you should try at home. Very low or high, in a space not walking through, in a corner as a substitute for a lamp or a floor lamp. The old rules are meant to be broken, like over the dining table there is no need hanging the pendant in the exact hight if you are into using candles. Put it higher, even close to the ceiling. You can do the opposite with a table using for books and vignettes and occasional tables, hang it very low. The same matters in corners and zones not used for walking. Hang the pendant as low as if it was a lamp.
