ikea and my absolutely favourites

The new Ikea catalogue has so many great ideas and I feel the designers and stylist at Ikea are always getting better and better showing people how to use their stuff in creating personal environment. I decided to choose some photos of set up I feel super nice:

Image above: Mesmerizing atmospehere in dark colours and flawless combination. I like how the Ingatorp table is used as an occasional table, it's an unusual piece in the living room and probably something people would't have thought of in that purpose. The same for the table lamp.

Vittsjö consoles are originally designed as a computer table but it's truly a multifunctional piece. I prefer and recommend it as a console and if possible, use two of them side by side like shown.

Lovely open space. The fireplace is gorgeous and the idea of dividing the space with a cupboard where the dining area is on one side and the working station on the other if great. Notice how the rugs are used.

Great working space. Again these dark hues but what I like is the use of the Selvik bed as a day-bed. I've always liked day-beds and used a similar one from Ikea as a sofa in our living room for some time. We loved it but had to put it in our daughters room. See, the multi functionality rocks!

Cosy bedroom where it's important to use the space. People put the bed 99% up against the wall but why not try this idea to get that factor of something surprising?

Sweet bathroom in colours. Love the tiles and specially the tiles on the floor. Far too often that bathrooms are in non-colour palette.
